The following resources are available for FHL researchers.

  • Information on present and past Marine Research Sites in the San Juan Islands.
  • Real time data from the Campbell Scientific Weather Station installed at FHL’s Cantilever Point by the Carrington lab.  Data recorded include underwater parameters (temperature, conductivity, pH, salinity, radiation, etc.) as well as air temperature, winds, relative humidity, rainfall, solar radiation, and more.
  • Under construction: the FHL Ocean Observatory, an instrument array for monitoring changes in local water conditions.
  • The FHL Scientific Photo Gallery, with marine science related photos for use by teachers and students at all levels and stages of their education.
  • The Synoptic Collection of preserved marine animals and plants.
  • FHL Course Projects that may be broadly useful, including species lists, habitat surveys, and identified invertebrate larvae.
