SENDING THINGS TO FHL?
You are welcome to send items, or order items sent, to FHL ahead of your arrival. We will hold onto them for you. Anything you send should be in your name to the address below. If you are sending linens ahead, be sure to write “LINENS” in obvious lettering on the box, so we know which boxes need to be immediately accessible to students on Arrival Day so they can make their beds up that evening.

Plan Ahead
CLOTHING: think LAYERS and WATERPROOF. Even in the summer, evenings and mornings can be surprisingly cool (and sometimes wet).

STUDY SUPPLIES: You will receive information about specific materials required for your course directly from your instructors, but the list here will provide a starting point. The FHL Stockroom sells most general office supplies, including notebook paper, herbarium paper, waterproof paper/notebooks, clipboards, a variety of writing utensils, etc. – so you can wait until you get here to purchase those as needed.
