Important Information about Costs

FHL Housing & Meals: Housing charges cover accommodations in a shared (2-person) dorm room; private rooms and huts may be available at an additional cost of $150 for a 5-week summer term, $300 for a 10-week spring/autumn/winter quarter. Dining charges cover a full meal plan in the FHL Dining Hall (20 meals per week; vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free diets accommodated at no extra charge). A light blanket is provided for each bed, but students should provide their own sheets and pillowcase.

Financial Assistance: Thanks to grants and the generous donations of alumni, scientists, and friends, FHL is able to offer partial support to many students taking courses at FHL.  See our page on Course Financial Aid for details.

**UW PCE charges a 2.75% service fee for payments by debit or credit card; electronic check (ACH) payments do not incur a fee.
